Technology Advances

Dakim Brain Fitness

Rockynol residents are having a great time keeping mentally fit thanks to the Dakim BrainFitness System, an investment that promises to help our residents reduce their risk of memory loss and dementia. The Dakim system is designed for use by virtually all older adults, from those with the sharpest minds to those who have mild cognitive impairment. It’s also of aid to those at risk for Alzheimer’s disease and even people with moderate dementia. The technology is fun, engaging, friendly and inviting. For more information on Dakim, please visit:

It’s Never 2 Late

Another great technological program at Rockynol is It’s Never 2 Late (IN2L). IN2L combines high tech with high touch in a new computer system designed specifically for older adults with the belief that it’s never too late to join the digital revolution. From using e-mail to connecting with family and friends, to enjoying mind-stimulating activities and improving hand-eye coordination, residents with a wide range of physical and cognitive abilities are now enjoying technology using systems adapted especially for them.
